The nuasea is back.
I (and Luke as well) feel like the guy who wrote this:
“Give ear to my words, O LORD;
consider my groaning.
Give attention to the sound of my cry,
my King and my God,
for to you do I pray.”
–Psalm 5:1-2–
My comfort right now is that the Gospel tells me that in Christ, God has a face and a body and He walked this earth. We have a God who bled. We have a God who can sympathize with our weaknesses. We have a God who didn’t commute from the suburbs, but moved into the inner city and got His hands messy. He is both immanent (near) and transcendent (far). He is both my God and my Papa. That is my comfort right now and I ask you to pray that would be Luke’s comfort as well.
S&A,
I cannot remember how many times we prayed for Christine to be healed. Such a small thing for this awesome God that we have. I would pray that if this would bring Him the most honor and glory…heal her. He has chose not to so far but He has shown us how mighty He is in so many ways through her.
Hang in there. We are praying for Luke.
Oh my, I hate what sweet Luke is going through and for you guys as well. We will continue to keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.
