I’m About to Turn 40 and Other Thoughts…

This Saturday, I am turning 40. I am actually looking forward to it. I have always looked younger than I actually am, probably because I have avoided manual labor all of my life (no, only kidding, I just have good DNA!). I remember my Dad’s 40th Birthday party. If I have the kind of party he had, I might lose my job. My Dad has matured since then. He’s a good man.

We’ve been home with Luke for about three weeks now. It’s very difficult is all i can say at this point. Please continue to pray for us.

I am really enjoying preaching through Ecclesiastes. It is cool to see how we have a better vision than the writer of Ecclesiastes. The Gospel (the Incarnation, the Cross, the Resurrection. etc) changes everything.

Amy and I have caught ourselves watching “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” and then we change the channel.

I am sad that “Lost” is not coming back on the air. What new TV show will Amy and I throw ourselves into?
